Hopefully I'm using the correct term. Several times I've accidentally created a green bar along the time line at the bottom of the project. This then causes the video to loop from the end of that green bar back to the beginning. 1. How do I get rid of that green bar and stop the video going into a loop? 2. How is it done in the first place so I can try to avoid doing it by accident?

Thanks for the answer. I either did this accidentally last month or I have forgotten how I selected that segment and trimmed it. The track of the actual recording is blue and ends. After that is a long green 'outline.' I've tried placing markers or grabbing the end of the green box to drag it in as I do with my video editing program. Neither is working. How do I select it and trim? Thank you.

I have no idea how I did it accidentally. But I'll try to describe it for those new to it. Volume is changed by leaving a marker at each end of where the volume change will occur. The little white squares are the markers, left there by just clicking on that central horizontal line. I accidentally dragged one of those markers to the bottom of the track, creating a long fade. All I did was click that marker and pull it back to the middle line. Problem solved. If there's a way to attach an image, I'll add one that shows what I'm talking about.

I'm editing a podcast and at one point a guest is talking. During the time she's talking, the volume gradually fades until you can barely hear her. It wasn't like this on the original recording. We could hear her just fine. Being new to the software, is there an effect which would cause this, something I could have accidentally done? How do I fix it? ETA: I found the problem. If anyone else is new to this, I had somehow accidentally pulled the volume line down to create a very long fade.

My tracks last 1 hour. My project length is 1'03". How do I get rid of that extra space at the end? Thanks
