I am wondering if you ever got an answer to this question? I am having a similar problem with the tinny sound. I have used Debut for years and it has worked great. Listening to a program online sounds fine, but when I record it through Debut, it sounds like a tin can echo. I have a Dell Inspiron 3880 with Windows 10 and had Dell do an Audio test and everything sounded great. Not sure when the sound started sounding bad, doesn't seem to make a difference if it's through Firefox or Google chrome, etc. All other programs either on the computer or streaming sound fine.
If anyone knows what's going on, I'd appreciate the information.
