Where is the attached screen shot, please?

Hi James! You may click on the wrench icon on each track to pull up Audio Options, from there you should be able to set the input and output devices.

I've tried using both Record Pad and Wave Pad, and it seems input is restricted to microphone only.

What I want is to record music internally.   I am composing in FL Studio and want it recorded straight from my sound card.

Do you have this option on some other audio product?

    Thank you.

Hi mgordo! You may want to try SoundTap. It let's you record streaming audio. For more details, you may check this link: https://www.nch.com.au/soundtap/index.html

I have merged many separate chapters which I saved to pdf, and have begun to edit the full-length text. However, Whenever I add a few new words into a given line, the following line is pushed way out of the left margin, sometimes so far that I can't see it all. My "tab" key does nothing, and I have to use my space bar to realign it. As I have 250 pages ahead of me on this book, the thought of continually having to push a line to where the left margin should be is daunting. Is there a means of setting up margins in the "Text Edit" mode?

    Many thanks for any help.

Hi akela! Unfortunately, setting up margins is not available yet for PicoPDF. You may use the Move Content feature instead to move elements instead of using tab or space bar to align a text or group of words. For more details you may check this link: http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/picopdf/win/move.html

Also, we would be glad to take your suggestion so our developers can improve the software for better user experience. You may leave suggestion/s on this link: https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html?software=PicoPDF

when I copy and past keyframes the will not copy to the same timeline but will create another time.  So if I want a lot of repeats of a movement I have timelines stacked on top of timelines.  Isn't there a way to keep from having all these lines?

    Hi There

I selected 50 images to convert and it only successfully converted the 1 of 50 files. The successful file showed a tick and the rest had a red x. Does that mean it was not able to recover the files.

Bug still occurs for me, a year after first using Debut.

For the benefit of anyone googling the same problem, I suggest my "fix" - after starting Debut (either from a desktop icon or the Start menu), press Ctl+F9 to start recording, wait a few seconds, then Ct-F10 to stop recording, then dispose of this "test" recording later. If this bug is going to occur it will always be while attempting this very first recording after launching the app (at least from my experience with Debut)

Hi Gronker! New versions of the software were released. You may try downloading the latest version (v8.71) from this link: https://www.nchsoftware.com/capture/debutpsetup.exe

    Dear Chris,

Thank you very much for taking the trouble to respond.

Yes, I did a 'System Reset' in December. This was after I had tried a 'Restore' which didn't work.  I had to do a lot of re-installing, so not sure if the SoundTap version I installed was the same one as before. When I went to install ST from the .exe file that I downloaded when it was bought last year, a message came that there was a new version (7.22). As far as I know, there's been no Skype update since then.

I have tried to check the audio drivers as best as I know how, and all devices come up as 'working properly' with drivers up to date.

I'm on course to get a new computer, I think, and just hope that SoundTap will work on Windows 11 -:)

    Melanie

    Hi,

I am trying to record a youtube song and I play it on a browser and then I open mixpad and choose the "Record Streaming Audio" option and start recording.

But when I play back, I see that some portions are missed and it does not record properly

I have been facing this issue recently. Earlier it used to record much better although at times it used to miss few mill seconds

My computer hardware configuration seems to be good  1.60 Ghz speed, i5 intel processor, 12 GB memory

    ANy help, please!!!

    Thanks

Effectively there is no problem if I convert one track at a time.

But the cds that I convert from cda to mp3 usually contain a hundred courses. Tracks are numbered from 1 .  Example: Track 1, Track 2, ..., Track 99. I need to maintain this order.

If I apply a prefix for the numerbering, Wavepad starts from zero. For example : Track 0, Track 1 …

In addition, Wavepad limits the number of tracks to be converted in a single pass.

What is the solution to have the tracks numbered from a given number ?

If Wavepad could maintain the track names as they are and only change the extension, it would be easy for me.

Hi Foguenne! You may go to Options > General tab

From there you may set the Default File Name Format.

I have same issue that Gregp has reported. I paid for and registered my Express rip software, spent about 40 hours over the course of two weeks ripping 400 CDs to FLAC, only to find out that none of them play back properly. It is not a copyright protection issue. I tried some of these CDs with other ripping programs and the results were just fine. I want to ensure that I publicly State my dissatisfaction. I want a refund and have submitted a support ticket already. You sold me a piece of software that has only one specific function, which is ripping CDs to a variety of different formats, and it doesn't do that successfully. That is inexcusable quality control, and shameful. This is not satisfactory. And to tell people that you're aware of the problem, the developers are working on it, you don't have a timeline for the fix, and that we should subscribe to a newsletter? Pitiful. Just pitiful. I WANT A REFUND NOW

Hi, does anyone know what the exact path is for VST2 and VST3 plug-ins for Mixpad Master's Edition???

I have tried every imaginable and logical path to make my plug-in's actually work. No Success. I do not know what else to try. It makes absolutely no logical sense for one of the many file paths I have used "not" to work. My result is usually only one plug-in will show or none. I "must" have full VST functionality, or I will have to cancel my quarterly subscription and learn another DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).  Mixpad Master's Edition said it had VST capability. Well, if I can only use one plug-in out of essential Virtual Studio Tools (VST's), I have no choice.  Please, if anyone is familiar with Mixpad Master's Edition, please, please help in any way possible. I don't really want to cancel my subscription. If this one problem can be solved, I am interested in purchasing the full Master's Mixpad Suite but not if the VST's are not fully supported.  :(

    Hi Pamela77,

Unfortunately, MixPad only supports VST and not VST2 and VST3 for now. Our developers are still working on the program updates to support these versions of VST. For further assistance, you may submit a ticket on this link: Software Technical Support (nch.com.au)

I finally got an answer from NCH.  "MixPad and WavePad does not support VST3. Only 32-bit VSTs are supported by the software."

I had previously asked NCH support but did not get a direct answer. The MixPad user manual does not address the lack of VST 3. The WavPad User Manual is very clear stating that it only supports VST 2.

    I hope this information helps.

    Hi Dubinvero,

This suggestion has been forwarded to our developers, they are already working on this request to support VST3. You may signup for free on our NCH Software Newsletter Signup so you can receive update once a new version is released that supports VST3.

  13. For Windows 10 and Windows 11, some of the components/drivers of SoundTap are not installed properly due to Diver Signature Verification. If installing the software as Admin does not work, you may follow these steps to disable Driver Signature Verification:

    1. Go to Start > Settings on the bottom of left.
    2. Enter Update & Security section, select Recovery on the left side bar. Click on Restart now option under Advanced startup.
    3. Click on Troubleshoot on the Choose an option screen that appears.
    4. Click the Advanced options.
    5. Select Startup Settings.
    6. Hit the button of Restart to go further into the Startup Settings screen.
    7. Type the number key “7” or functions key “F7” to activate the Disable driver signature enforcement option. Then your computer will be rebooted.

**Your PC will boot with driver signature enforcement disabled and you’ll be able to install unsigned drivers/components

    Reinstall the software.

***The next time you restart your computer, driver signature enforcement will be disabled—unless you go through this menu again.
