I have recently installed Videopad onto my laptop. I have downloaded a video from my camcorder to eventually upload to Youtube.

The video stops and freezes at a certain point. The audio continues and all the clips are showing but it does not continue!

I'm pulling my hair out trying to get to grips with video editing, it's not easy!

Any help with this would be appreciated. Regards to all Chris

What version of Videopad did you install?  Look at start up or at the bottom-left of the VP screen for the release number.

Does this occur in preview or in the export?  If the latter, download and install this version.  For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.

Please share your project.  Most issues can be worked out quickly.  It's easy, quick and can be private.  Just follow this 4-step procedure...

1. With your completed project on the timeline, click the 3-lined 'hamburger' menu, top-left.  Click FILE | BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER.  Specify a folder.  Click SELECT FOLDER.
2.  Using the PC file manager, go to where the numbered folder was saved and upload it to a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.*
3.  Get a shared, public link that ANYone can view.
4.  Paste that link here, or click the folder, above top-right in this forum, and message it to me.  This is private and won't be shared.
*    Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES.  Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
