WAVEPAD SOUND PROBLEM

Hi,

I never had any issue before with WavePad. Now, when I want to play an audio, it says: "Please check that you have selected the correct sound player device using Options. Open Options...."

What do I have to do ?

I've got this same issue and it's driving me mad. it worked one day and then stopped the next, around the date you posted this. Did you find a solution? Their support has been no help. All other programs play my audio fine.

Please open Options (* see below to open Options), Audio Tab. Please select an applicable sound player from "Device" dropdown box.

To open Options either: (1) Go to Home Tab, press Options, or (2) Press CTRL + SHIFT + O, or (3) Menu -> Tools -> Options 

If problem still exist:

1. Please check connection to your speakers.

2. There may be a problem with the sound card, you may need to update your sound card driver. Instructions to update the soundcard driver is in Help page (F1), and click "No Audio Input"

Thanks for the feedback but a/ There is no home or options tab in the latest version, so I am already stuck and b/ there is no F1 when I search on the help page, so I've gotten nowhere with this issue.
