AutoComplete on, should be off ???

Recommended Posts

Trying FastFox on Mac OS 10.12.6, Sierra.

We see that after hitting the red dot to dismiss the app into the Dock, a right click on the dock icon shows a checkmark on "AutoComplete".

But, we have NOT enabled "Auto Complete" in the FastFox preferences. Sounds too much like a key-logger ...

Why is the checkmark ON in the Dock?

Screenshots with FastFox retired, and active respectively are at https://www.dropbox.com/s/41m4xrp10bdl81m/FastFox retired.jpg?dl=0  and https://www.dropbox.com/s/jwonzikt1euwa4x/FastFox active.jpg?dl=0

Is there a user manual for this app? Should I keep autocomplete on all of the time or just whenever I am working on a project? How does this work with Microsoft Word?

Help-->Fastfox Help should open the Help documentation in a browser window.

It's up to you whether to leave autocomplete on. If you only use FastFox for your projects, then you could shut it down completely when you don't need it.
