I've just recently reinstalled Videopad on my Windows 10 Asus laptop. I paid $70 (that includes the taxes) for the Master's edition, and the version that I currently have right now is 10.78. I used Videopad for over a year and that was last year, so I perfectly know how to use Videopad. Unfortunately, I decided to uninstall it because it was starting to anger me with all the bugs and glitches that I had to suffer with it. At certain points it became so bad that it would literally even CRASH on me and close out the application by itself. But now I decided to reinstall it; but the problem is that the audio doesn't work. What I mean is that it won't fully process the audio clips, and it comes to the point where it feels like it will never fully process the audio clip. I decided to reinstall Videopad once again, but the problem was still there. I even checked the video files and the photo files to see if those wouldn't work as well, but they worked perfectly fine. I was also capable of editing them too. I even waited for 30 minutes straight to see if it would take a long time to process the audio since it's been a while since I've used Videpad, but it never fully processed. It would just keep saying "processing." And it's a problem because I can't look at the actual soundwaves of the audio that I'm importing into the editor, and I can't use any of the audio effects either because a message pops up saying, "Can't edit effects while audio clip is still being processed." Now keep in mind that Videopad is already on my bad side due to the bugs and glitches that I constantly had to put up with for over a year. And no, I did not install Videopad from a random website; I literally installed it from the NCH website. But now that I decide to give it a second chance and REPAY $70 in order to get the masters edition, it doesn't even work properly? That's completely ridiculous. I shouldn't have to waste my hard-earned money on something that doesn't even work properly in the first place. I just wrote a message to techinal support about half an hour ago to see if they would help me with my problem, but I felt like it would take a long time before they even see it. Not only that, but I even checked on forums to see if people were suffering with the same problem that I have, and I saw that there were people who also suffered with this. Those forums were from last year, but quite frankly I didn't really get anything out of those people. Because the people that were helping out didn't really give any real solutions or actual steps on what you can do yourself in order to resolve this issue. They were basically just saying, "Oh, just install this version of Videopad and let me know if the audio still doesn't work." They just left a link for you to click on and it would just be the videopad setup all over again. That is not help. That is just being lazy and not going into the roots of the problem. So I apologize for the very long post, but if anyone could help me and provide me with real steps on what I can do to resolve this issue, I'd really appreciate it; because I do not want to have to refund my money because of a software that doesn't even work properly when you just got it.

I've almost completed my project ready to export and now i'm getting a message saying 'one or more sound clips are still processing' and there's no audio. This has been for over 24 hrs. I've restarted my computer. Cleared the videopad cache. How do I fix this? I can't start this video again it took too long.

I am having the same problem that was reported back on August 16, 2018, posted by stebbinsd. At that time, the poster wrote, I'm moving to export my sequences. However, it just says "sound clips processing ... please wait." The problem is that all my sound clips are working perfectly. Also, VideoPad never actually finishes processing the clips. I can come back an hour later and it will still say "sound clips processing ... please wait." Less than a month ago, I bought, downloaded and installed VideoPad Professional. The software registration codes were installed on March 26, 2020 6:30 PM. I have been working on a video now for two weeks and yesterday morning I attempted to export my video as a mp4. For the last 24 hours I have watched as the "sound clips processing ... please wait" message repeats over and over. I have Version 8.20 Professional. I'm running Windows 10, Version 1909 (installed 3/27/2020), 8 GB RAM, 64-bit operating system, on an All-In-One HP Desktop 20-c005la. Please help. I have two-weeks of work displayed on my VideoPad screen. I don't want to lose my work. If I am asked to reload the program or update my version, can I do so without losing all the hundreds of hours I have already put into this project? If so, please explain how to protect my work. Thanks.

This is the 2nd time that I have created a video using VP. The first time I was not able to export the file. I attempted to export my video as a mp4. For 24 hours I watched as the "sound clips processing ... please wait" message repeated over and over. Finally, I decided that something must be wrong and that I should contact the forum. I have Version 8.32 Professional. I'm running Windows 10, Version 1909 (installed 3/27/2020), 8 GB RAM, 64-bit operating system, on an All-In-One HP Desktop 20-c005la. A very helpful and knowledgeable person in this forum helped me out. I was asked to share my project with the forum, which I was able to do. This person very kindly fixed whatever was wrong with my file and sent it back to me. However, no explanation was given regarding what I had done wrong the first time, or how to prevent it from reoccurring. Now, I’ve just completed my 2nd video and attempted to export it, and I received the same sound processing message that never stops. Please would someone very kindly take a look at my files – I hope I have uploaded them correctly – and fix them? I have links to two versions of the same project because I am not sure which is the most recent. Also, I would be most grateful if someone might tell me what I am doing wrong to cause this endless "sound clips processing" message that I receive when exporting? I don’t want to continually bother the group with the same problem, and if I know what I am doing incorrectly, I will follow the instructions correctly in the future. Many thanks. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1tvppK_HbQdpXoeMm9ZJxK8iiQZTXHnby?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Lk_8a3sxwhkrWka3dUMS1du9sZNFFg9-?usp=sharing

I am using a 'Non-commercial home use only' version of VideoPad. I have captured a number of images from different video clips taken with my iPhone. VideoPad has been 'processing' the images for almost an hour now. Why does it take so long? Have I done something wrong? Thanks!

After upgrading to V5.01, there is no sound on previous vpj files created. When opening the project files, the following error displays "One or more sound clips on your sequence is still processing. You will not hear these clips until processing finishes." However the processing never ends. I can hear the audio clip in the "clip preview" but when I play a "sequence preview" or a "preview" there is no sound just the error message. If I start a new project and save it, everything works fine. One suggestion was to clear the cache files but that did not correct the error. I would appreciate any suggestions to resolve the problem?
