When I save my Photostage slideshow in mp4 it wont open in Dropbox, Quicktime or in any format that I can send. I am using the free version and wanted to upgrade because I have been pleased until this glitch.

I have been trying to export my channel intro which about 35sec long which usually shouldn't take that long but for some reason since I updated it to version 8.28 whenever I attempt to export it, it freezes on 94.7% and does not go past it. I have restart my computer several times and nothing seems to work out. I am running windows 10 on laptop.

I saved an audio file I was editing and when I went to continue working the sound of the main file I was using had gone. I'm using a big audio clip that by this point was split into multiple clips as I've been editing. The clips of the audio, despite showing a wave-signature, just doesn't have sound. The transition effects I added between the main clips still played so I know nothing is muted. This seems to have happened because there wasn't enough room in the place I was attempted to save the file to...so it just removed the audio from the main audio file. A lot of work went down the drain if this can't be restored. I've never experienced this with any kind of media editing software before

Dear Wavepad Users and Admins, Firstly, I'd like to thank NCH for the existence and production of Wavepad Audio Editor. At this moment, I'm really new to the world of audio recording, editing, mixing, etc., and Wavepad offers me all the features and tools I currently need to develop my audio skills. In order to explain my problem, I'd like to give some brief information. I'm a novice bass player. Recording my practice sessions really benefits me regarding the development of necessary skills that allow me to fully express myself musically. I found out that I really needed a DAW that features the use of 'Bookmarks', because those bookmarks help me to efficiently create an overview of patterns, sounds, etc., and to quickly identify a certain pattern/sound during ánd after a recording. Finding out that Wavepad offered this feature was a lifesafer to me! Even more, I found that Wavepad had much.. much more to offer than just that. So, in a nutshell, I greatly enjoy using Wavepad. It enables me to efficiently record, mark, edit, and mix my music, with the knowledge and skills I currently have. So, I thank you guys for creating this awesome audio editing software!? I'd like to give some information before adressing my problem, so you are hopefully able to understand the problem. The main point of this brief information is this: The main feature a DAW has offer me, is the use of Bookmarks and being able to save audio files according to their assigned Bookmark's Name. Right, now I'll mention the problem I experienced lately. In order to get more familiar with Wavepad's features I decided to give myself an assignment, which demands me to use each feature I found necessary to get familiar with. As an 'assignment' to myself I recorded some random gibberish and inserted a few bookmarks. My goal here is the following: - Save these 'split' files while each file keeps their assigned Bookmark's name (Problem) Below are the steps I take to achieve this during such an assignment: Record something, insert two or three Bookmarks where necessary, and Name them. Save the original file, name it accordingly. Go to the original audio file opened in Wavepad and split them at the bookmarks. (Each individual file now has the name: ProjectName_Bookmarkname_Filetype). In the Menu of 'Splitting Files', I click on 'Save to Folder', select the appropriate folder, set output name, and click on 'Split'. Appearance of Error Message: "One or more of the split files was not able to be saved.'' (read: None of the split files are saved) I looked this problem up at the Wavepad Forum and found a thread in which an expert and guru gave advice to a problem, which was 90% similar to mine. So I tried their advice, and this is what I tried: Record something, insert two or three Bookmarks where necessary, and Name them. Save the original file and name it accordingly. Go to the original audio file opened in Wavepad and split them at the bookmarks. (Each individual file now has the name: ProjectName_Bookmarkname_Filetype). In the Menu of 'Splitting Files', I click on 'Open in Editor'. Close original file. Save first split file with 'Save File As..' and name accordingly. Open the second file in Wavepad and click on 'Save All Files'. Here I click on the first split file so the name appears in the title bar, and add the bookmark's name like: ProjectTitle_Bookmark'sName. From this point on I experience problems. It's hard to remember each split file's bookmark title when I have to split a 60-minute-audiofile into 18 seperate segments. It would be great if Wavepad enables the user to save 'Split Files at Bookmarks' with the 'Save All Files' option, and that each file keeps the Bookmark's name. However, this doesn't seem to be a possibility, as far as I have seen, found, and experienced. My question to you all is, do you have any advice or suggestion for me to get this done - if this is possible of course. I thank you in advance for your reply, because this thread is quite extensive. However, I'd like to explain myself as best to my ability, so to inform you well about my situation and experienced problems with Wavepad.

Hey, I already asked about this issue before, but it seems I have found the problem now, I just can't find a solution. I made a file and added transitions. Because I couldn't export the video (issue already resolved), I simply saved it. I came back to it today and found out scenes were added and transitions were lost. I think the main issue is that when transitions are added the last scene gets either added or extended to form the transition, but when the program gets rid of my transitions (for whatever reason?), and I add back the transition, the scene added doesn't completely get faded away, thus messing up my entire file. This has happened like three times before now and re-editing everything is a massive job. I'll definitely save without transitions in the future, but for this project, does anybody have any solutions to getting rid of the "scenes" that were added without having to cut and delete every single part of them?

I am currently working on a pretty elaborate project involving multiple clips that I selected carefully. The task is so big that I can't finish it in one go, so I have to save it. I use transitions in between the clips to make it look nicer. Every time when I save it and come back the next day, some transitions are gone, VideoPad added parts to clips that I do not want there, and when I try to cut these parts out (for the fifth time), it doesn't give me the option to delete the smaller parts, but only the entire thing. Please help, this is extremly frustrating and I don't know what to do.

Sorry if this question is easy to answer. I looked through all of the onilne help and searched this forum and couldn't find a solution. Is there a way to do this? Or a way to export part of a video as a separate file? Thanks so much for your help.

Is it possible to save a file with TwelveKeys? And if so, is it possible to export TwelveKeys files to Crescendo? Or does the TwelveKeys program only show the visual reel of the sound?

Hello, I drag-n-drop an audio file into Wavepad to convert to MP3. Process works fine. If I click on the SAVE button and an error pops-up saying I "cannot save to \some\recent\file\destination". ?? For some reason, whenever I click on the save button I get this same error! I have tried a full re-install and nothing changed, I still get the error. Only the SAVE AS works. Is some file/path stuck somewhere ? (I have checked the registry and removed/changed the recent file there) Please help, anyone ??

I have the most recent version, I am trying to export a video, but halfway through, Videopad closes and the video isn't completely saves. It's done this twice now and it's quite ridiculous.
