File not loading

I have been using express scribe for a long time without any problems. I receive dss and wav files, except for some reason the wav files come over as much larger attachments that the dss files with the same number of recorded minutes. Not sure why this is.

 

Another problem I have encountered today is one dss attachment loads up to 98% and then i get an error message - scribe.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

 

Express scribe shows no dictation. The other one I received today loaded and played without problem.

 

Any help or suggestions would be welcome.
