susie4554
For the life of me I can't get my footpedal to work. I work with Medent (medical software) and it comes to me electronically. I have my foot pedal plugged into my keyboard port with an extension of the cord sticking out where my keyboard is plugged in. It works for Medent but not for Express Scribe. Does anyone else have this problem?

countrygurl
what brand of foot pedals are they?
jls1967
Same problem here. My pedal works with DocQScribe, but not using Express Scribe. I have tried it on both my PC running Windows XP and my laptop running Windows Vista. I get the same error message with both computers that indicates that there is not a Vec USB Foot Pedal attached or it is not a Vec foot pedal. Which of course it is a VEC pedal and it is attached. I have tried installing the Vecusb file as a stand alone download, but that did not resolve the issue. Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this issue?
