jon.sylvan@speak-write.com
Hello, Our company is currently running Switch on a Windows 2003 server to batch convert various format audio files to .WAV. We want to move to a new server with no dedicated audio hardware (and no we don't want to install any). We have done some preliminary testing, and have found solutions for converting all the necessary file formats we deal with on such a server (Win2003 no audio hardware) except for the Sony .MSV and .DVF file types. We have installed the Windows Media Plugin, and even tried installing the Sony Digital Voice Editor Software, but are still not able to convert .MSV or .DVF files on a Win2003 server without dedicated audio hardware. Is it possible to successfully convert these files using switch on said platform? Any suggestions/answers/help is/are greatly appreciated.
