.mpc conversion for Mac Switch

When I was trying to convert some .mpc files to a .wav, I received an error message saying I needed to obtain a codec from here: "http://www.nch.com.au/components/mac/index.html"

 

I followed the instructions from said component page, by placing the .mpc components into my /Library/Applications Support/NCH Swift Sound/Components folder, but I still can't seemed to convert the .mpc files. Did I do something wrong, or does Switch simply not allow such conversions?
