gilloz Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 I have used Switch in the past, about 1 year ago, and had no problems. Today, I cannot convert a wav file (codec: Microsoft PCM format) to mp3. I keep getting errors. The error states that the creation of the output file failed. A smaller window opens up and says, An error was encountered while creating a file. Do you wish to continue converting the files? I am still using Windows XP Pro, w/sp-3 as of yesterday, and I get a big Red X on the far Left of the file. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Switch. Don't know which way to turn or look. Any help would be appreciated. Update: I was able to convert to WMA and then tried to convert to mp3 and it still had the same failure.
