lz2kc
1-st sorry for my english! The case is: In court room i recording with: MSRS Recording System 4.01 The BACKUP folder is on the network file server, mapped like P:\ (for current user) There is folder P:\BACKUP, where i store DCT multichannel files from MSRS Recording System 4.01 On local machine (in court room) i store "Recordings" folder, where are 4 WAV files (for 4 microphones chanels) for each 20 minute record, named: 2008-05-22 09-20 00.wav 2008-05-22 09-20 01.wav 2008-05-22 09-20 02.wav 2008-05-22 09-20 03.wav 2008-05-22 09-20.txt 2008-05-22 09-40 00.wav 2008-05-22 09-40 01.wav 2008-05-22 09-40 02.wav 2008-05-22 09-40 03.wav 2008-05-22 09-40.txt .... The user is logging on other computer with user name and pass (domain user) and there is script to map the user folder ot the server like P:\, where BACKUP folder located with DCT files. Express scribe 4.10 autoload form this fileder and start decompressing multichannel files and store them in this path: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NCH Swift Sound\Scribe\Current C: is 30 GB partition. THE PROBLEM IS: When autoload the about 10-15 DCT files in Express scribe on secretary computer the decompress process stop when DISK IS FULL. And there is the problem. The DCT files are deleted from BACKUP folder, and the Subjects of loaded files is - field "DURATION" - 0:00. Only the last decopressed file before disk full have time - for example 15:36, and after this time there are no record.(the recording files are 20:00 min) In the BACKUP folder i found only these files: s0000000.sta s0000000-SECR-KRASSYG.sta s0029182.sta s0029182-SECR-KRASSYG.sta s0099677.sta s0099677-SECR-KRASSYG.sta where "SECR-KRASSYG" is the computer name of the secretary. In C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NCH Swift Sound\Scribe\Done i found about 20 GB old Wav and other files not deleted, but is too late The 1-st QUESTION IS: Can i reload again files and where are the DCT files? Why they are deleted before full decompression?!? The Second Question is: How to rebuild DCT files from WAV files, located on the computer in the court room to put them on backup folder on the file server and reload on secretary computer? Thanks in advance! eng. I.Karaatanasov
