from dss to mp3 (or anything else!)

Hello,

 

I am running Switch on a Mac using VMware Fusion (in other words, I am running my Mac as a PC). I am trying to convert DSS files into MP3 files, but even running my Mac as a PC (and using the appropriate PC version of Switch), I receive an error message saying "The specified source format could not be read." Is it simply impossible to convert DSS on a Mac, even when running Windows?

 

My DSS files were all recorded at SP and do not appear to be corrupted (they work fine when playing them with DSS Player). Are there any other problems in general in converting DSS files with Windows?
