deanna.politicaljunkie
Hi everyone, I just started trying to use Express Scribe to try and transcribe voice files (.wav format), and it's telling me that I don't have the right codec installed. It said to try playing the files in Windows Media Player, which I did, and that didn't work either. I tried updating WMP, adjusting settings on both that and ES, all to no avail. I tried searching for the codec on the web, but I can't find a download of it anywhere. It seems to be a common problem (according to my search results), yet nobody seems to have an answer. Does anyone out there know how to either get this codec, or how to work around the problem? The codec I'm having issues with is Dialogic OKI ADPCM (17). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Deanna
