Long conversion finishes but incomplete (wma -> mp3)

Hi,

 

I seem to be doing something wrong. I have some very long audio files in WMA format (some almost 8 hours) that I want to convert to mp3. The conversion seems to complete ok, but the resulting file has only 2 hours worth of audio material (roughly 35MB). I have tried converting to .aac or other formats and I get the same limitation. I have downloaded the trial version of Switch Plus. Otherwise, Switch seems to work well for me on other conversion tasks.
