Codec g723 and g729

I don't think there are any plans to add G723 or G729 support in the near future. Part of the problem has to do with their proprietary nature meaning a license has to be purchased for every user with the software or hardware that can support the codec. For example a license for G729 support is about $10.

This would make it impossible to giveaway to users for free in software like (the free versions of) Express Talk and Axon, and it would likely cause the price of NCH's VoIP software to go up to compensate for the cost of the codec licensing.
