Express Scribe deletes files less than 1 second long

My Express Scribe is auto deleting voice files that are less than 1 second long.

 

Just before it deletes a file it displays a message like this: File is not able to be played in Express Scribe, the audio file XXXXXXX has a duration equal to 0 seconds, it will now be deleted from Express Scribe.

 

In fact, the files are between 0 and 1 seconds long and I need to transcribe and save these files just like I need to do with files of longer duration.

 

Anyone know how to make it stop deleting the files that are less than 1 second long?

 

The files being deleted are dct files. I'm using Express v 4.13
