Cannot find recordings in selected folder?

Fully paid registered SoundTap software, - July2024 - latest version - not a very good impression. Purchased this because I used it about 30 years ago with Napster and it was great.  Looking like I might have to dig out the old vintage version. At least that worked as promised.

Have been trying to find music recorded from Utube or Spotify in the selected download folder ( still in trial period) but it shows the chosen folders as empty with no files listed?

Is there a recommended folder that is easy to find?   Tried to use desktop as destination but that was also not possible.

The main bar charts seem to indicate that SoundTap is receiving and recording the music but I can't find it??

"Find & Play" and "Rescan for new recordings" does nothing. Folders selected are: C:\Users\John Doe\Music\filename but there is nothing listed?

 

Found the solution 

After downloading a codec "elm3" everything is working/
