snowdncr43
I've been using Express Scribe for about 6 months now with great success. A few days ago, however, I deleted the CD Audio Files that I had on it and attempted to load another CD. Suddenly it tells me that it cannot find the CD-Rom. I've tried everything that help suggests, I've spoken to Martel Electronics, and I've searched a couple of MT forums without success. I've changed nothing else on my computer. Please help. snowdncr43
I have learned that the problem is not with ExpressScribe or my pedal. I loaded them into my laptop and it works perfectly. Anyone have any ideas on why my desktop computer is suddenly not recognized by the software?
Guest nchgb
It's likely a Windows update or some other software (a Virus perhaps?) which has caused this issue. Try taking it to a repair shop and see what they think. Alternatively, have a look around the interweb, there's a lot of other forums which deal with hardware issues as you are experiencing. I have been working with a computer repair facility and THEY have been trying to get a response from you for two weeks now....to no avail. This is costing me time and money (as I'm sure you're aware). Please contact me with a solution.
