Chantarelle
I'm a bit technically challenged so I hope I get all of this right When I open WMA files, there is a box that says decoding with direct x. It takes AGES for this to happen. Does it have to do this? Is there any way to skip it?? Any help would be appreciated
Guest nchgb
The process you are talking about is WavePad decoding your entire WMA file so that it can easily be worked with. This is a necessary process and unfortunately cannot be skipped. The time this decoding process takes depends on your computer speed and the length of the audio file.
