Default File type save

Is there any way to change the default order of the file type list in Save As menu, or Save Selection As menu?

 

I save a lot of language phrase files. It is very irritating after a while to laboriously change the file type from wav to mp3 each time I save one of the dozens of files.

 

Perhaps this is just a small thing, but it would be a nice change for me.

I agree. I save a lot of files and even if I started by reading in an mp3 file, it still defaults to wav. It would be best if there were a slot in preferences for it, and even better it might work for others if the preferences selections included "whatever the file was when it was read in" or "the last thing I selected". Being hardwired to wav is not good, and not very typical of Windoze applications.
