m4a to mp3 only 6h 45 mins ?

Dear all,

 

I am having problems converting a large m4b audiobook file (NOT copywright protected).

 

The orginal file in .m4b format is 236 Mb in size and has a duration of 8 hours and 19 minutes.

 

Switch is not able to convert .m4b files right away so I renamed the file in .m4a (and tried .aac as well).

 

Switch starts to convert the .m4a and does not give any errors. It takes ages to convert, but is lookes like it succeeds.

 

BUT, the result is a 380 Mb file in size, containing only the first 6 hours and 45 minutes.

 

The result is good, a little less audio quality, but manageable.

 

How can I convert the rest of the file ?
