azmarkb Posted December 5, 2007 Share Posted December 5, 2007 Recordings come out muffled and incorrect speed when played back right after recording (prior to save). This worked before, but is not now. I can't think of any changes to codecs (maybe Napster installed a new one - I don't know how to check). I purchased this product because I really liked the sound quality and features it has. Please help. What codecs should be used for optimal recording quality? How do I fix this problem? -Mark Bastian- 12/4/07 I've read the entire WavePad manual and it doesn't caver the problem I'm having. Playback of files I have previously recorded with WavePad playback fine. Only when I try recording a new file I get incredible distortion(a very "tiny" sound) and the pitch seems to be very low songs are almost unrecognizable. I paid good money for this product on September 29, 2007 and have only used the product a few times (without problems).
