Cannot rip audio from CD

Hi, I just updated my license specifically to be able to rip some audio from a CD. Disappointingly, Switch throws an error every time with any disc which says "converrsion failed" with the extended info field offering " please make sure you are converting directly from the CD", which, to my knowledge, I am. I'm on Windows 10 Pro and have no problem getting the CDs to be recognized or played. I just can't get Switch to rip the audio. Any help is greatly appreciated!
