SFX req'd .wav to radio HF vhf etc

Hi

I make fps games and need my .wav files to sound like they are coming from a radio, uhf, hf, etc etc

have any of you experts got any advice ..I have tried some of the filters on wavepad but will be doing it for hours

I've had some success creating this type of effect with a few different things:

Try Special Effects -> Telephone Effect.

If that's too much use the "high pass filter" with about 500 hz frequency

I had best result playing around with the high pass settings in the equalizer though.

 

Once you've found a good combination you can make a batch conversion preset and perform the settings on multiple files.
