mash ups

i'm using the trial version of wavepad and i'm trying to mash up two songs as a way to learn the program. i can't seem to get the beats to sync up. is there a way to do this other than guessing with the speed change until they match?

There isn't any beat match feature in WavePad.

 

Try getting the bpm using this tool:

http://www.all8.com/tools/bpm.htm

 

Now you can work out the bpm and percentage of speed change needed for the beats to match.
