bear
Is the wavepad sound editor capable of removing background music? For example, I have a number of spoken word compilations all imbedded with music. Is it possible to erase the music in these clips while keeping the spoken word intact? much appreciative of your help. all best. -bear
Guest nchto
It's possible, but it would be tricky. WavePad has numerous noise removal features which may help in this process, but be aware that nothing is perfect and you will likely loose some clarity in the spoken words. If you're able to isolate what frequencies the words are spoken at, you could use a bandpass filter (also achievable with WavePad) to pass the words and block the rest of the audio.
