sbsadmins
I am attempting to convert sony MSV files to MP3 format on a Windows 2003 server machine without a sound card. I can convert standard file formats (i.e. wav) to MP3 on the server without any problems, however when I try to convert the MSV format I get a message: "The specified source format could not be read". I have installed the sony MSV plugin from the NCH website on the server. I have tried the exact same process with the same version of Switch and the sony plugin on my desktop xp machine and the conversion works fine. Please can someone help? Thanks in advance G
Guest nchto
Did you try restarting the computer? We simply use the Sony plugin (not developed by us) to read these files. If there is an issue with this then it's probably down to this plugin.
