BRNRDS Posted October 29, 2007 Share Posted October 29, 2007 Wavepad can save a recording in Flac but cannot open it. How to edit a recorded Flac file? I can see many options to be associated with Wavepad but this won't work without a Flac or other decode Plugins. Trying to open a Flac file results in a brief flash of Wavepad and disappearence. I try to open the file and 2 dialog boxes open but the file does not open in WavePad. I have tried multiple flac files. I am able to open other file types (mp3). I have installed flacdec & flacenc. What other steps do I need to take? I made a quick screen capture and the 'Loading Audio File Source' and 'Loading FLAC file' bozes open up.
