Scholler
Hi All, my "Answering Attendant" is configured to forward incoming messages as an email attachment. The mailing process itself works quite good. My problem is that i have set the file compression format to "MP3" and the attachment in the mail still has the "WAV" suffix although it is a MP3-file. Therefore the mail recipient cannot directly play the file unless he has extracted it from the mail and renamed it to a "MP3" file... Is there a solution so that the mail attachments are named correctly from the software ? Thank you.
Guest nchto
It is a wav file, but encoded/compressed using mp3. This is a perfectly legitimate filetype and no programs should have difficulties playing it (unless they're specifically looking for .mp3 file extensions). I'll pass your suggestion to change the extension onto the developers for you.
