larrybo
I recorded a speech with a digital voice recorder and transferred it to my computer via the earphone jack/input and wavepad. When I went to burn a CD from the file, there were gaps during the pauses of the speech, instead of the ambient room sound. It made the speech sound choppy. These silences are not on the original recording. Is there a way to edit the recording so that wavepad "leaves in" the background sound? I have seen lots of discussion of tools to remove this, but none to leave it. Help?? Thanks in advance!!
