freddo

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am using SWITCH Plus for conversion to WMA. Can someone please expalin the three encoder options given in the program for the Output Format, I can't find the answer in Help or the FAQ's on the website

The encoder options are:

Windows Media Audio Voice 9

Windows Media Audio 10 Professional

Windows Media Audio 9.2

Thanks

They're different versions of the Windows Media Audio codec. Generally a later version is always better, but sometimes users would like a specific feature from an older version. The easiest solution would be to try all three, see which one you think sounds better and then go with that. If you can't tell the difference then it really doesn't matter which one you chose then!
