CraigC
I'm trying to convert .wma files that I've ripped off a CD to .mp3 format, everything seems OK but when I try to play the .mp3 files they play correctly for the first 5 or 6 seconds and then they skip. ??? I've checked the originals and they're fine, they all play correctly before I convert them. I've also made sure that they're NOT protected. Anyone have any idea why this happens? I've tried 18 different files and they all get the same results. Note: I'm using the free version, and the encoder option settings I've tried using are as follows: Constant BitRate - 192k High quality encoding checked Channels - I've tried both Joint and Stereo Error Protection - I've tried both with and without including CRC Is there something I'm doing wrong? It doesn't give any errors along the way - looks like it worked but they just don't play properly. Also, I've tried to play them both with Windows Media Player 10 and with VLC Media Player. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Craig
