Russell Stainton
While I had WavePad on test I could edit and save MP3 files, now that I purchased the simplest package from NCH I can no longer save a track as an MP3. A window appears saying Unable to create the file. Any suggestions
Guest nchto
Are you able to save it to a different location? Are you able to save it as a different format? Make sure you have mp3el installed available from our components page: www.nch.com.au/components.
Russell Stainton
Are you able to save it to a different location? Are you able to save it as a different format? Make sure you have mp3el installed available from our components page: www.nch.com.au/components. I was not able to create a file anywhere as an MP3 as I had done easily before the purchase. I went back to the original site and down loaded the software again and it seems to be working fine now I'm just waiting for it to tell me that to continue using it I'll have to pay again. Here's hoping it's sorted.
Guest nchto
You won't have to pay again if you've already paid. Check out the Help -> About window and see the status of WavePad's registration. It may have automatically transferred over when you did the new install.
