jenifer
I have a problem with mp3 audio files loading. The file name loads but the audio does not. They play fine in Windows Media and Real Player but after repeated attempts, they do not load in ES. The files were compressed to 128kbps, would that make a difference? I had to download them from the web through an order form, are these different than the typical mp3 file for transcribing? Thanks for your help! Guest nchto
Can you please elaborate on "audio not loading"? What works and what doesn't? Does the file appear in Express Scribe with the correct time, you just can't hear anything when you play it? Do other files play file with Express Scribe? Either check that Express Scribe is using the correct audio device to playback, or try converting the file with Switch (although you shouldn't need to do this as Express Scribe natively supports mp3 files...).
