Mixpad/Switchpad question?

Recommended Posts

I'm just wondering if the recording format can be changed in Mixpad. I'd like to make it the max sample rate like 48000 hz instead of 44100 hz. The help instructions said that if I right click a clip and choose "Set Track Recording Options..." I can change those values. But all's I get is the option to give a new clip name and choose whether or not to "Rename the corresponding audio file"

I noticed Switch is used to record and convert in Mixpad. Am I doing something wrong in MixPad or do I have to change something in Switch to change my recording format in Mixpad?

Thanks for your time.

MixPad will always record at the highest quality possible. You can select Track -> Set Recording Device of Selected Track to change some options. To save in this format you simply select File -> Save As, select the Wave file type and then select the 48kHz format in the attributes section.

Switch is an audio file conversion program and is not used to record in MixPad.
