ID3 tag problem

I've converted some mp3 files from 160 kbps to 128 kbps and when doing so the ID3 tags (v2.2) disappear.

 

There is a thread about this, but it dates from 2005.

 

I would buy a full version of Switch if this could work.

 

Any suggestions? I have a lot to convert and doing this by hand is not an option.
