Harriet Webb
Having read the support information online, it appears that I can only upload and edit .cda files if I am logged into as an administrator, when I run wavepad using my administrator log in it nicely informs me that my trial version has run out. I have previously purchased the code for wavepad, but I have obviously put the code into the wrong log in so I can't use the registered version! Any tips on how to transfer my registered product to the administrator login? Any help would be much appreciated!
Guest nchto
Simply re-enter the information in. If it fails for some reason then please contact support on our registration support page and they will issue you with a new key.
Harriet Webb
I have re-entered my key information into the admin account's version, the version now runs as an admin and yet still I cannot open .cda files- why is this?? (the message reads: "Cannot open the file *****.cda. This means that either the file format is not supported by this program or that a required codac or plug in is not installed..." see forum and so forth") Obviously the program is supposed to support .cda files, but maybe there is something missing? Guest nchto
.cda files are simply pointers to tracks on an audio CD (and are not actual audio files themselves). To load them into WavePad simply use the "File" -> "Load Audio CD Track(s)" menu item.
