EmilyNash
I have downloaded switch plus as this is what i have been advised by a friend of mine. I have recently started a new job doing digital audio typing. My new boss said that beacuse we are using olympus dss player 2002 and some of the files we get are .dvf then i need to convert the dvf files using switch to .wav. However, i've managed to download switch plus with no problems, but whenever i try and convert a dvf file i keep getting a message saying that switch was unable to open the file. What am i doing wrong. i've tried looking for another converter programme but i just keep coming back to switch. My boss said that some of her other staff had problems to start but didn't tell me what or how they got around it.
Guest nchto
.dvf formats are associated with Sony recorders, .dss formats are associated with Olympus. Try changing the file extension to the proper format and see if that helps, otherwise please read http://nch.com.au/acm/support.html#SONY or http://nch.com.au/acm/support.html#DSS
