lovepraveen Posted December 5, 2006 Share Posted December 5, 2006 Hi, I have got a Compaq laptop which doesn't have a COM port but my foot pedal has a 9-pin COM port. I bought a USB to COM port Connector and tried to connect the footpedal after installing the driver (which came along with the cable/connector). The express scribe is not detecting the Pedal.
