Is Mac Crash due to 10.4.8 or Intel?

Hi,

 

I have been using Switch quite successfully on an older G4 Mac running OS 10.3.9. It's a nice program and I've been very pleased with the performance. I have now installed Switch on a new Macbook Pro Core 2 Duo (Intel) Mac running OS 10.4.8. Switch launches on the new laptop but when I click Convert it quits immediately. Does anyone know if the problem is due to it being an Intel based Mac, or is the problem 10.4.8? I'm planning to upgrade the G4 to Tiger and would like to know if that will make Switch unusable on that Mac also. Is anyone using Switch on any version of OS X?
