sandman671
Hello, Perplexing problem. I recently had an issue with my Windows 8 computer which required me to do a refresh and reinstall several programs including Wavepad. Since then when I try to save an audio file as an MP3 on my hard drive it is telling me that the drive is full even thought it has 615 GB free on a 700GB drive. I can copy / paste a relatively large folder from another source directly to the hard drive so I know it is not an issue with the OS or hard drive. I did a Wavepad repair and also uninstalled and did a clean reinstall with the same result. Any ideas would be a great help. Thanks!
Guest Alex Chapman
Hi, This sounds like a bug that we've recently fixed: the problem was that WavePad looked at the drive that you loaded the file from when determining how much free space there was. If this drive was read-only (such as a CD or DVD), then it always thought there wasn't enough space. Try copying your file to your hard drive and editing it from there, or updating WavePad to the latest version. Alex
