JoJo88
Using WavePad I wanted to open an .m4a audio file. When I tried this a message appeared saying that I needed to download the "components" that will allow opening this and other files. I dismissed the message and... the audio file opened! So, do I need these components? Or not? I've googled a bit and see that components should be kept in a folder in /Library/Application Support/Components. Others say that the folder should be titled "Switch" (I forget exactly). What is the correct location and title of the folder in which the components should be located for OS X? I see that the components are here: http://www.nch.com.au/components/mac/ Do I nee all of these? Are they only for WavePad? Or are some for other applications? A brief description of each and what it's for would go a long way in "self support" of NCH applications.
