ShivasGhost
I have been using a Dazzle Video Capture device with Pinnacle Video Studio v.12 with no difficulties getting both the audio and video signals. However, I am running under Win7 and the system automatically blue screens after about 6 minutes of recording. I am connected to a DVR and have had this problem since upgrading from WinXP SP3 to Win7. So I decided to try NCH Debut 1.50 Video Capture Software and the video stream is fine with the Dazzle 100. However, I do not get any audio, although the green audio indicator (bottom of the screen) lights up and I can see slight movement in one channel. When I look at the Options, the Dazzle device is recognized as the video capture device. However, the Input remains grayed out. The 'speaker' option is identified in the playback drop-down box. Video recording is fine, but no audio is recorded. At least it doesn't blue screen like with Pinnacle. Until I can solve that problem, I am without the ability to capture video and audio from the DVR. Also, when I connect a WebCam and and Logitech USB headset, the WebCam is recognized, the Input remains grayed out, but the Logitech is seen in the playback drop-down box. Nonetheless, my question is does anyone know if NCH is working on making the Dazzle compatible with their software? I hear that I need to take the audio input directly to my computer microphone port, but that seems to be very inefficient which a device like the Dazzle is available.
