bhradio
I work in an environment which can have a lot of loud, high-pitched background noise. With my old laptop and free version of WavePad, this was no problem. Since I got a new laptop and purchased WavePad, I have run into an issue with either the computer or the program trying to drop out the background noise automatically. Unfortunately, I want the primary audio OVER the background noise for what I am doing to sound right. Is there some sort of filter which might be triggering that I could turn off? Is this more likely to be a problem with my audio card? One more thing which might be important...I am not recording directly into the computer, but rather into a Minidisc player, then recording highlights onto the laptop. There is NO distortion when I listen to the audio on the Minidisc player.
