robfuscate
I have long used Adobe Audition and before that Cool Edit, but neither of them work with Windows 7. Audition is going to be priced beyond my reach when it is available anyway. Using those programs I copied some 600 live cassettes into single large mp3 files for processing - de-hiss, normalising and division into individual tracks. I can do the de hiss and the normalising in Wave Pad, but cannot work out how to batch divide into tracks at points that I specify. Slice Audio Splitter doesn't do it with live tracks. In those other programs I nominate the start and finish of each track using F8 and then simply batch them to make individual files of each length of data from one F8 point to the next. The program then saves them as discrete files and names them with whatever i have selected as the diferentiator - e.g a file called Red Card becomes Red Card plus Red Card _01; Red Card_02; etc. Is this possible in WavePad? How?
