24 bit 96 khz,sounds played on half speed

hi phreaks

 

when i play a sound or loop, whatever, at 24bit 96khz- rate, the program plays it on half speed. quasi pitches the sound down on half speed.

 

but when i play the same sound on i tunes for example, or an other prog., the speed is ok.

 

i´ve read of this problem in an audiomagazine some times ago, but don´t know how to solve it, since wavepad supports 24/96 rates...
