Express Scribe 4.32 for windows is now available. The following changes have been made:

 

- Added: "Dictation Information" dialog, including total duration and sender details.

- Added: "Jump to time" feature (accessible from the Control menu or by pressing Ctrl-J).

- Added: ACT (an ADPCM variant) file format support.

- Added: APE (Monkey's Audio) file format support.

- Added: MPC (Musepack) file format support.

- Added: SHN (Shorten) file format support.

- Added: SPX (Speex) file format support.

- Added: Audio cable dock method can now transfer at high speed.

- Added: Confirmation dialog when deleting hot-keys.

- Added: Check registy write permissions on application startup.

- Fixed: VEC Infinity IN-USB-1 removal no longer gives "HIDWatch Read Error 1167", and pedals now function again after reinsertion.

- Fixed: Show progress dialog during backup before special audio processes so application no longer hangs when processing very long dictations.

- Fixed: "Load Dictation File(s)" dialog no longer shows repeated "There is no disk in the drive" errors for floppy or CD drives with no disk inserted.

- Fixed: Error message wasn't being displayed when playback sound device couldn't be initialised.

- Fixed: Default email address was being detected incorrectly when mail client is Microsoft Outlook.

- Fixed: Paste and Insert now give focus to the Notes window before pasting.

- Fixed: Incorrect playback speed was being displayed when using Play (With Pausing).

- Fixed: Changes to the Dock (Audio Cable Method) dialog's activation level settings made before recording starts are now applied immediately.

- Fixed: Adjustments to the channels control while playback is stopped no longer cause playback to start.

- Fixed: Attachments dialog "Save as" command now initialises the file name in the save dialog.

- Fixed: Transport button images were rendering incorrectly on Windows 2000.

- Changed: "Recover Old Dictation(s)" dialog buttons moved onto a tool-bar.

- Changed: Can now forward or dispatch multiple dictations at once.

- Changed: Calculations for panning between left and right channels when adjusting volumes using the channels control are now more accurate.

- Changed: Better warning message when attempting to dispatch an empty transcript to an Express Delegate server.
